The "Auto Car", 1909. The Bell Telephone Company availed itself Of modern apparatus in the maintenance and operation of its plant. The new motor vehicle commended itself to the demands of telephone service, which in emergency requires ever-ready and speedy means of transportation for men and materials over long and short distances.
