“Canon is the bridge between technology and the people who use it.”

Celebrating over 27 years in operation, Canon Canada Inc. is a highly respected industry leader in professional, commercial, consumer imaging equipment and information systems. Canon Canada’s extensive product line enables business and consumers to capture, store and distribute visual information.

Constantly striving for excellence, Canon is continuously developing original technologies. More than 10 per cent of Canon Inc.’s annual global revenues are reinvested in Research and Development. Canon Canada’s philosophy of “Canon Know-How” ensures the focus of new product development is to provide solutions to customer relationships and create technologies that help enhance the way people live and work.

The extensive Canon product line includes: full-color and digital black and white copiers; networked office systems; facsimile machines; image filing and micrographics systems; small office and home office products such as personal copiers, faxphones, bubble jet and multifunction printers; cameras and lenses including a full range of digital, 35mm SLR, and APS formats; 8mm, Hi8 and digital camcorders; binoculars; calculators; and broadcast lenses and equipment.

Canon is proud of its role as a responsible corporate citizen. In 1991, Canon Inc. introduced an internationally mandated Clean Earth Campaign to Canada. The campaign is dedicated to the collection and recycling of Canon toner cartridges, with corporate donations of one dollar, for every empty toner cartridge returned by Canadian customers. The proceeds are equally shared by the World Wildlife Fund (Canada) and The Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Canon Canada is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario and currently employs 1,700 employees across the country.
