St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology
The College’s partnerships also extend to other education providers, such as its advanced automation program known as Mechatronics, offered at the Kent Skills Centre in Chatham. Internationally, its reach extends through collaboration with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges to provide programs and services that have included Barbados, Trinidad, the People’s Republic of China, Thailand, and Malaysia. The College also offers a two-year diploma in International Business. Transfer arrangements with universities in Canada and the United States facilitate the transfer of credits between St. Clair and other institutions.
The College has made strides in Learner-Centred Delivery methods and this has opened up new and exciting opportunities. Instructors utilize computerized testing and study skills diskettes that enhance learning. St. Clair students have the use of several open computer labs where independent work can be completed. The future holds many challenges and opportunities for St. Clair College. Proud of the links it has forged, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology will continue to offer programs and courses that meet the needs of the local community while expanding its sphere to the community-at-large. |
